Went to see a van, Dan the salesman was brilliant, done me a good deal, picking up van Friday.
Now, after a few months, the van I bought needed a Mot, put it in a garage and a few hours later the garage came back and told me that the steering rack had play and 2 new tyres were needed on the front of the van due to this and other issues, also the back box had to be renewed, I emailed BTC and was told as i didn’t take it to them it was not there responsibility, after checking the last Mot the steering rack was put down as an advisories plus the tyres, also on the Mot it was stated that the milage was 115,743 miles but on the invoice I received it was stated as 115,000 miles

Brilliant place, good px deal on my old end of life traffic for a newer vivaro crewcab. No messing about straight forward. Definitely recommend them and be coming back in future vans.

I bought a VW Crafter from BTC about a month ago – for a van conversion. Will post another review after I’ve put a few miles on it – this review covers the buying experience and immediate post-sales. Found Dan to be super helpful – direct, fair, honest and really easy to to do business with. There were a few minor snags – electric windows/ 2nd key etc – that he sorted for me before purchase, and the delivery was equally painless and easy. Looking around the market, BTC have a great selection and they are priced well (don’t expect to negotiate). They followed up with me to see how things were going post-sale and that I was satisfied. All in, I’m really happy with the experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them – really excellent.

Fantastic, can’t rate highly enough. Sale was really easy and they made me feel completely comfortable, no tricks, just an honest appraisal. Van is in fantastic shape and for an extremely competitive price.

Suffered a breakdown just outside the warranty, one that couldn’t have been foreseen through any amount of checks. Despite having no obligation to help me out, on good faith they took it into the workshop and completed the required work for a fraction of other quotes i was given. Put it into the workshop on Thursday and it was back on the road by friday morning.

Can highly recommend, bought a great VW Caddy Maxi (auto) and very happy with the process and customer service levels. Got finance sorted in 10 mins by Mark. I travelled a long way for the van as I wanted a good condition ‘Auto version’ of the Caddy, Dan was good enough to pick me up from main station and delivery me with the van to sort the sale etc . The van was just like the photos and I cant fault the body work and the look/condition was exactly how it was explained on the website. My 17 year old son bought his first vehicle from BTC 2 weeks ago, within a week the clutch had gone. Shaun had the vehicle back, replace the clutch (no charge) and my son was back on the road within the week. Amazing service, no messing around, just got the job done. Highly recommend these guys. I purchased a Recovery Truck 2 weeks ago and as they were 150 miles away i didn’t get to see or test drive the truck before it was purchased. Dan was extremely helpful and reassuring on the phone, explaining it would have a 60 point check and new MOT so i placed a deposit. On the day of delivery there was an intermittent issue with the gearbox which i was informed about immediately – the truck was sent into a Main Dealer for diagnostics to find some gearbox work was required. This was all completed very quickly and the truck was then delivered. Unfortunately a gearbox fault came back after a few days – Dan and the guys didn’t hesitate in having the truck back and having it rectified all at their cost (invoices totalling approx £3000) It was all sorted in a very short time frame and delivered back to me 150 miles away free of charge. Although i had some initial niggles with the truck i was very impressed with the way everything was handled and dealt with. Bristol Trade Commercials went one step beyond at every stage of the sale. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark…they gave 12m MoT even though it was not strictly required, and organised modifications to the van for me before I picked it up. Very polite, professional and I’d certainly use them again. 🙂

So I’ve just purchased a van from btc and at first I had a disaster the van went into limp mode after three days of steady use I called them immediately and their reaction was excellent they couldn’t do enough to help me they swapped the van for newer tidier and payed for a full aa inspection and new mot and mark was extremely helpful let us know every step of the way what was going on and restored our faith.
